KL Trip from 2/2/08 to 3/2/08 (五月天要来了!).
Meeting up with adela and ry at 7.30am to walk to Golden Mile Complex to take our coach. But ry was late so we meet up at Golden Mile Complex. The shocking thing is that the coach company told us that the bus had already left at 7.30am but the agency that book our tickets told us the coach leave at 8am. Lucky they have a coach leaving at 8am so all is not lost.
The trip to KL takes about 4 hours but only reached our hotel around 2pm due to all the passengers living in different hotels. Our hotel, Hotel Malaya, is at Chinatown area so is pretty good for shopping. Went to eat lunch at Berjaya Times Square at a hong kong cafe before walking over to Sungei Wang Plaza. It's something like our Far East Plaza except bigger. Though i was thinking of buying a pair of jeans, somehow the jeans don't really fit. It's like there's always a gap at the waist though the rest of it fits. Maybe i just have a bigger butt haha.
For dinner, we head to Lot 10's Secret Recipe. Didn't really shop much at Lot 10 cos the shops are more expensive so we went back to Sungei Wang. I'll definitely make it a point to come by here if got the chance. There's this particular shop that sells mainly dresses for all sort of occasions and the price for those formal occasion dresses cost only about S$50-60 plus only! I don't think Singapore can find such cheap bargain. At the end of the day, i bought a pair of sandals, a pair of open-toed wedges and a watch. Yeah i finally got a watch after like 1 month plus of living with looking at my hp or asking people about the time.
Next morning ate breakfast at the hotel then we went to walk around chinatown. The thing i noticed immediately is they have so many stalls selling imitations of branded goods. What ever brand you have in mind they probably have it. But some of those bags really doesn't look like the real stuff. Would you believe that Prada sells a beige-coloured bag with colourful wordings? I doubt so.
We then went back to check out from the hotel then went to have lunch at A&W. Yes Singapore-extinct A&W lol. But the meal wasn't satisfying as the chicken burger is really dry, making it almost a pain to swallow it. After that, we went back to hotel to wait for the coach. Was quite tired on the trip back and on the rest stop spend all my ringgit on local food products. Overall i think it's a bit too rushed and there're some places we don't have chance to go to. Hope my next trip will be better planned.
五月天is coming again for their concert! Yeah! It will be on 26th April Sat at Singapore Indoor Stadium. The tickets will be sold from 12th Feb onwards. Ticket price from $78 to $168, (most likely $78, $108, $128, $148 & $168). Though their last concert here was less than a year ago, i'm still excited cos their stage will be different and closer to the fans. Anyone interested in the $148 & $168 tickets please tell me before 12th Feb. ^_^
