Haha birthday hints~.
The coming week is damn sian cos i'll be doing night shifts again. Plus the two night shifts yesterday and today, this month i've 5 night shifts. Due to study changes, i gain another 3 night shifts this coming week so my plans for the coming week is ruined. I've expressed my dislike of doing night shift to quite a few people at work and they look at me like i'm crazy. Cos to them the job is much lighter, got extra $, can sleep if got available beds, plus boss is not around. But i feel it's like having no life cos you're living a lifestyle that's totally opposite from other people. And most of the time i don't feel good waking up at 1pm cos i don't sleep at work so i only sleep when i reach home which is like 7am. They say look at the money but i never care much. Are they too realistic or am i unrealistic? In addition to that, i've heard comments about their first impression of me. One told me that he thought i was 23. When i told them i was 20, they were like in shock. I don't look my age meh? I thought i look kind of kiddy? Well i think i can anticipate more age-related comments in the years to come. There was another comment which i won't mention here for the sake of my readers' health cos they would probably laugh off their chairs, breaking something in the process or choke on whatever they're drinking/eating. Man, that comment can really top the most outrageous comment i've heard about myself. I can only say i'm speechless... Actually was planning maybe to do something for my upcoming birthday but at this moment i think more than 50% chance won't be having anything. Cos of work so don't think i'll have the time and energy to go around looking for places to go. Worse come to worse i'll be counting down to my birthday in my dreams. Lol. Guess i can look forward to my birthday week cos i'll be working only 2 days. ^_^ And to those who don't know what to get for me haha, here's some hints. Oh, and don't bother with the wishlist, it's outdated haha. The first hint is Bleach-related things, easiest way to get me satisfied haha. Noticed i say THINGS, very broad term hor? Haha! The second hint is something i can put my stuff and carry around. Haha easy to guess bah? Of course no need to follow my hints, anything unexpected but to my liking is welcome. Lol. ^_^

Eason is the best~!!!.
Yesterday went to watch Eason Chan's concert at Expo. Pathetic me went to watch it alone cos no one is interested haiz. But i'm glad i didn't miss it for the lack of company cos it's damn good. ^_^ Before the start of the concert, people started queuing up for toilets. The line is so long that i decide to hold my bladder till after the concert haha. Though the ticket says start at 8pm, it was only 20-30% filled. Singaporeans are never punctual. The concert starts only around 8.30pm where almost all the seats are occupied. Speaking of seats, i don't really like the seating arrangement. The seats look like those from chinese restaurants and there is no altitude like in cinema except for those $68 seats. So conclusion, the tallest wins or get the $148 seats. He started singing 《不如这样》 and there's this black veil covering the whole stage that drops when the music starts, revealing the band and him with a guitar. His singing is superb, sounds just like his CDs, no even better than that. No kidding and it lasts all the way throughout the concert. Damn shiok. How many singers out there can sing like that? He's so amazing. The songs are mainly mandarin and cantonese with 2 english renditions of "Daughters" by John Mayer and "Look what you've done" by Jet. He speaks mainly in cantonese so half the time i couldn't get the jokes. There were 4 costumes change, the first one which he starts off wearing a red hat, a red jacket and black pants. After 4-5 songs, he removed his cap and jacket to reveal a green Snoopy t-shirt haha. The second one was a suit and he appeared with an orchestra to sing ballads. The third one was all black complete with a cape and hat, looking like a night crawler lol. During the encore, those at $68 seats started stomping their feet while the rest just went to the front where $148 seats were, shouting "Encore!" or screaming "Eason!". Those who bought $148 don't want to lose out so they stand on their seats. Even saw ladies wearing high heels standing on their seats. I would fear for my life if i was standing next to one. Eason came back wearing a simple red t-shirt over black pants and sang 3 more songs. By then the crowd already went crazy. The concert end about 11.15pm, just in time to catch the last train goin towards Boon Lay. First concert i've watch and satisfied it exceed my expectations.

Hello 2007!.
MIA for quite a while now back to update my dusty blog haha. Fri went to Brewerkz at Clarke Quay after work with colleagues. It's sort of a restaurant-cum-pub, can see the Singapore River if sitting outside. It was a nice outing where we can talk about anything other than work, even made a few discoveries haha. Anyway when i reached home, it was only then that i realised that i had a red rash on my body. At first thought i had unknown food allergy but after seeing doctor, he told me it was fungus infection and that the rash is off-set by some food i ate. Lots of food restrictions sian~ Should be gone in a week. Sun went to watch Death Note 2: The Last Name at The Cathy. First ate lunch with hm, hc, gc and sc at Shokudo, ordered chicken teriyaki set which was ok. After that py came and we went to watch the show. The second part's story is ok but it didn't have as much excitement as the first one. L steals the show again with his antics. No wonder he's gonna get his own movie in 2008, which happens before Death Note. Had a chat at Burger King, hope hm have a nice time at HK, take care ya! ^_^ Mon went out with mal, yc, mc and jl to watch movie. Originally wanted to watch The Holiday but in the end watched Confession of Pain. Show was alright, might have been better if the killer wasn't known from the start. Feel that Shu Qi is just a "flower vase" in the movie. Before that ate lunch at Cafe Cartel, had chicken and mushroom macoroni. Didn't know it had creamy sauce so got a bit sick of it at the end. About my resolutions i made last year, i can say i achieve at least half of them. The first is not to be lazy and slack well it's not that i want to slack it's just that there's nothing to do lol. Second is not to curse so much. Hmm maybe cos i didn't played as much games as before so i didn't curse that much. But most of it is converted to mental curses haha. Third is to be more daring. I'm still used to my comfort zone but i venture out more now. Last is to be more thrifty which sadly to say i fail in this one. I don't think i spend a lot but somehow a whole month expenses add up to a lot. As for 2007's resolutions, first is to take better care of my health. Need to start exercising, getting a tummy liao lol. Second is to have preserverance. There're things i wish to accomplish but somehow it's left aside or forgotten. I hope at least it would be completed, not necessary this year but at least have some progress. Third is again to be more daring. Last is to spend less than $100 per week. Think it's better to start with short-term goal. Things looking forward to in 2007 mainly is anime haha. Bleach gonna end its fillers on 10th Jan so most probably going back to manga storyline. Naruto also ending fillers in Feb and Saiunkoku Monogatari going to have second season in Mar/Apr. Plus upcoming season of new animes, i think i'm gonna be a counch potato haha. Work location is also going to change, not sure it's for better or worse. Gonna miss lunching with mal, keep me updated about your news hor haha! ^_^ Happy New Year to all!
