Busy weekend.

These past few days think i spend more time outside than at home. Anyway i'm on night shift again so i have plenty of time to type this long post haha.

Fri meet sc and wt at city hall for dinner. Went to Out of the pan at Raffles Shopping Centre basement. Ordered Cheesy Chicken Sausage. Though it look plain, the taste is pretty good. Then shared dessert Hazelnut Royale, which is a waffle with chocolate ice cream, mango cubes, hazelnut cream and chocolate fudge. After that shop around and wt bought a lot of things.

Sat meet cindy and her friend at Expo to attend STAC EOY cosplay event. Was quite excited since it's the first time i attend a cosplay event. But a bit pissed off after finding out that those who enter after 3pm got in for free. And those early birds pay $12! @$%^&*~ Those organizers! Anyway the whole event was quite fun as there are many people who cosplayed and did it very well. The booths at the event were average not really that much to see, mostly fanart. Was interested in an Ichigo figurine but seems like it's not the official figurine. Cindy went on to bought a pair of grass sandal, a Bleach badge and an Ouran badge. The competition starts at 2pm and it start off with the team cosplay. Didn't get what some of the teams are trying to do like the Final Fantasy 8-bit theatre. Fave is definitely FFVII:AC, they did a great job, with all the sound effects, action and their costumes. The hosting skills of the mc is average, they don't really know how to liven up the atmosphere. The stage is a bit small cos at the end everyone have to squeeze on stage and could not pose much. Seems like most of the cosplayers are not there for competition cos the mc have to drag random cosplayers up to compete in the individual event. And even though there's a quite a lot of people attending the event, probably less than a quarter voted. We left after the results are announced.

Later in the evening cindy and i meet hm, kl and st to celebrate st's belated birthday. Have dinner at Han's. My chicken omelette was average, the omelette looks ordinary kind of the type you can cook at home. Went to the arcade at Century Square where they played the drums game. St damn pro haha. After that went to Starbucks where hm started taking sub-standard photos haha. Went home around 10.30pm.

Today meet mal and yc at bugis for yc's birthay celebration. Yc was late so the two of us went to kino for a look. Mal succumb to the lure of 20% discount and bought a book haha. Gonna buy my stuff tomorrow when i meet cindy. ^_^ Then mal bought a photo-frame at Shibuya. Yc arrived and we went to have lunch at V8 cafe. Ate chicken baked rice, not bad cos the crust is crispy and the cheese beneath it is soft. Shopped around till about 4.30pm then went to have my dinner at the foodcourt.

Renji from Bleach with his sword Zabimaru. Again is a female cosplayer. Urahara from Bleach. Agreed with cindy that his geta should be higher.

Went to Chuang Yi manga sale on sat. The building a bit old and think not much of it is occupied. So went up to the 6th floor and just follow wherever people went lol. At 6th floor, they're selling older manga series like Astroboy and some looks older than me haha. Mostly selling for $1 or $2 per volume, didn't see any going for 50 cents. They also have magazines and books but are in jap. The best section have to be the vcd section. 1 box for $10, 7 boxes for $50! Mind you these vcds are those that are selling $29.90 at poh kim vcd shops. The sale assistant saw me raiding the section and pass me a big red plastic bag lol. Even saw an uncle beside me buying anime vcds, probably for his children. The crowd mostly are teens or in twenties, with some aunties and uncles. They didn't have anymore stock on one of the Inuyasha vcds so i got myself 3 boxes of Inuyasha and 2 boxes of Twelve Kingdoms. Being a nice little sis, i help my bro to buy 2 boxes of Gundam Seed Destiny haha. Lucky they allow payment by nets otherwise i don't have enough cash. After that, went to the 7th floor where the newer manga series are. They're having 20% discount and it's worth it if you're buying a lot. Unfortunately my manga collection is pretty up to date so i didn't buy anything.

After eating lunch, head to La Tendo. Got a bit lost but still managed to find the place. The shop's collection is quite diverse, not like some shops which sell mainly Gundam stuff. Storewide 20%, quite tempted but considering the lack of space in my room, end up didn't buy anything.

Yesterday meet hc, hm, sc and gc at marina square to have lunch at Billy Bombers. Ordered fish and fries which was 1 for 1 cos hm received discount coupons when she passed by the waiter who was giving it out. Didin't expect the portion to be so big; 3 fish fillet, fries and coleslaw. Could only finish 2 fish and some fries. Gc came much later and ate our leftovers haha. Then saw cl walking over to our table then realised bh, sq, ss, yy and sc were also eating at the same place. What a small world eh? Played 终极密码 so the loser have to eat anything that's left on her plate. Cl came over again and gave us a slice of chocolate cake cos they were also celebrating birthdays. Manage to finish the cake after a few rounds of 终极密码. Gave sc her birthday present, hope u like it. After taking photos with marina's decorations, went to play arcade. Left about 5pm to catch the Star Awards.

Sale~!!!.

Haiz think i have to do something about my face. No not talking about plastic surgery, but my oily skin problem. Tends to get oily in the afternoon or after exposure to sun. I tried to cover with powder but seems that more oil is secreted, enough for me to cook an egg haha. Wanted to switch to using St Ives products but they don't have small bottles. Stuck with the choice of bare or powder till i finish my current cleanser.

By the way, Death Note 2: The Last Name poster is out, featuring Light, L and Misa. Still prefer the first movie poster. Can't wait for 28th Dec!!

Yup Chuang Yi(see pic) is gonna have a sale and so is La Tendo(http://www.latendoshop.com/home). Mangas and anime figurines woohoo~, planning to see see look look this sat. Anyone want to come along? ^_^
