Brain dead soon....

Tink i will quite busy 4 the next few wks so won't be blogging as much. Quite upset at the way things r goin now cos the next sch holiday the 1 after tis semester i'll be doin my practical work for my FYP (final year project) then i won't get to rest n relaxed. Sad sia, last semester no holiday cos got ITP now the comin sch holiday also no holiday. My body really needs a rest. Hope tat the 1 wk holiday got nothing on so tat i can slack off. Then i'll be graduating in Feb/Mar according to Ms Soh who said tat our semester holiday is only 1 month. Quite soon as it's like less than 1 year. Scary to tink how time passes so quickly.

The comin wk got 2 tests n 1 presentation, haemato n blood bank test n stupid oral communication(OC) presentation. Haven start studying yet 4 the tests n i tink the blood bank test will be quite hard cos dun really understand wat Fraser is saying at times. Need to brush up on tat part. The OC presentation have not done yet cos can't tink of wat to say for 3 mins. Maybe u all can give some ideas? Otherwise tinking of skipping class if cannot finished haha. Really hate tat module, it's like totally useless n most of the time nothing to do but tok crap.

I wan to see Initial D got ppl company me? Most probably free frm tis comin wk thu onwards.

Happy cos i got wat i want.

Yesterday i got sick again, yes it's flu again. It's not as bad as last time then plus tis time i got eat medicine so i can still tahan. Got a call from Kah Lin when i was on the way to sch asking me to go out. We were meeting at 5 plus so at first i thought after sch ends i go home to rest first then come out. In the end, i didn't went home and after med micro pract went wif almost the whole the class to marina to eat ice cream. I thought my flu will get from worse from eating ice cream but somehow i didn't sneeze as much. Must be my antidote to flu. So 13 of us when to Swesens to eat the $5 ice cream free-flow plus 1 drink. It's quite worth it if u can eat alot. I can only manage 4 scoops. The guys were like going for several helpings and some of them ate twice of wat i ate. Anyway it's on till 27 june and from 2.30pm to 5.30pm so maybe next time we can go eat again? ^_^ The consequence of it of course is having a slight sore-throat from eating too much ice cream. I need to more water today.

After tat went to meet Kah Lin and Hui Min at orchard mrt. They wanted to buy stuff for sch so we went shopping at taka and far east plaza. Eat dinner at sushi tei, i ate the deep fried tofu, not bad and it's much better than wat i expected. Both of them didn't manage to buy anything and Hui Min wanted to make her own bag. I wonder will it succeed.

My final year project is decided. My grp is doing Detection of food borne pathogens using both conventional cultural methods and molecular method. Quite happy cos it's wat i wanted. I guess i will be dealing wif bacteria tat cause food poisoning so dun mess wif or else *evil grin* haha. The project tink maybe will be starting 2 weeks later the earliest cos Ms Soh will only brief us nxt week. I want to finish as soon as possible cos i dun wan to come back during the holidays. I really need a holiday whether is to slack at home or go out i dun mind. I just want to relax, take my mind off studies and all those stressful things.

Not in a good mood.

Thought today will be the day to know wat project my grp would be doin but end up the balloting was postphoned and getting everyone frustrated. All started because Mr Fraser wanted to ensure each available project there is someone doin so originally those grps wif 3 haf to reduce to 2 and the odd one had to grp wif others. It's like such a sudden thing and then we like haf to kick someone out of the grp. I then was the odd one out and i thought i will grp wif someone else but there are now too many grps so some of those odd one out haf to go back to the original grps. So in the end i manage to "escape" and went back to my own grp. When like everything is decided, the other class still haf 1 girl who didn't haf a grp and wanted her to join one of the grps in our class. It makes no sense lor, it's not like our class is trash bin to collect ppl who they dun want to grp wif. And thanks to them the balloting is postphoned probably tml.

I also sort of understand how everyone is doing things for their ownselves and how ppl are realistic abt things. I think i may see more of this realism but i dun want to be part of it. It's also probably why i'm closer wif my sec buddies.

Still broke.

I spent my weekend slacking at home which i dun mind since i dun really like squeezing wif the crowd and plus the most important thing is tat i'm broke. Yes still broke. My wallet currently now has less than $10. I think i need $ management otherwise i dunno how to survive wif wat little $ i haf. I should keep a record of wat i spent and save regularly but dunno whether i'll stick to this habit.

My table is growing wif my pile of notes and books which i haven't been clearing it for a couple of months. I think i better clean up before my mum complains. I need to buy files but now low on $ ... hai back to square 1. $ is not the most important thing but you can't do without $. How true tis statement is.

1st week so slack.

First week of sch reopen, feels quite happy but at the same also quite slack cos our lessons start quite late, earliest is 10pm. This means tat i can sleep late but also means tat i end quite late. First day first lesson got scolding from B. Yang. He was saying he put in a lot effort for us and we were like dun appreciate it. I pity tat he had to work so far to get tis far but from his speech on monday, it seems like he cares more abt getting his pdh funded. Since he's gonna teach us no matter wat, i guess i just haf to tolerate for another semester. The second lesson was wif Fraser, he damn funny sia, talking abt a lot of crap. If he ever wanted to quit his job as a lecturer, he can be a comedian.

Then yesterday we saw Fraser again, comical as usual. I thought i would never see lily flower again but she happens to teach us oral communication. Wat a boring subject. I dunno wat she's thinking but she didn't wear a bra so can see her ... you know lah. Then each of us haf to introduce ourselves and talk abt wat makes us us and our future blah blah. Lucky only haf the lesson once a week, otherwise i dun tink i can stand it.

Yesterday i also had a bad cold, used up abt 3 and a half packet of tissue. Went home straight after sch and sleep for a while after taking my medicine. Tis morning still haf a bit but not as bad yesterday. The 3rd project titles are out but still indecisive of wat to choose. Think haf to sit down and discuss wif Malvina and Ya Ching abt wat we doing. After sch make plans wif them to see Madagascar but not sure where yet. ^_^
