Don't Look Back In Anger.
The title is one of my favourite songs from Oasis and related to what this entry is about. How do you handle your anger? Do you let it out, find some way to cool it off or just let it simmer? Personally I need time to cool off and probably forget about it in a couple of days. I feel no matter which way you handle, the worst you could do is letting that anger fester in your heart. Which is something I'm having a problem with since it's becoming uncomfortable and awkward to work with that person, even if I'm not the target of the anger. At times I have to play the role of mediator and pacify both sides, yet at times I feel why should I put up with such nonsense. Especially when it's over a small matter and it will just blow over if that person will just let go of anger. Considering this is not the first time, just that this is the longest incident that happen to date, I just feel it's extremely petty and childish to always have such tantrums. I just wish that person will grow up mentally. Ending with this quote that I found. "If a small thing has the power to make you angry, does that not indicate something about your size?" Sydney J. Harris* I know I have not completed the Taiwan trip so most likely I will compile into a summary since I have forgotten some details. :p

Taipei Trip Day 1 - 1st July 2010.
First time taking Jetstar, quite alright for a budget airline, though my return flight was not that smooth. My flight departs at 1350hr, the upcoming Jetstar flights to Taipei will all be departing in the morning so kind of missed out by half the day. Alternating between sleeping and listening to my Ipod Touch, I realised I really missed my in-flight entertainment haha. After landing at Taoyuan Airport, it was after 1830hr. Took a bus from Guo Guang to go to Taipei Main Station, NT124 for single trip (if I remember correctly). Our hotel Royal Castle is located at Ximending, a short distance from the station. The entrance is bit unnoticeable and the lobby is quite small. Looks a bit old and the interior is more chinese-looking. Almost thought they gave us a room without windows, but sliding the wooden frame mirror reveals the window. The hotel adopts the water cooler system, so no daily bottled water provided. Which means you still have to buy a bottled water to store the water. The small bathroom. When we settled our luggage and everything, it was closed to 9pm. Happened to see that Watami opened till quite late so we went in. The meal was not that fantastic though, I think SG outlet is better. Scallops and mushroom, the best tasting dish out of all that we ordered. Tempura Udon, the tempura is kind of soggy and bland. Hot green tea, the worst I have tasted. Though the waitress told me it's matcha, I didn't expect it to be so bitter. Adding the milk makes it tastes even more vile. Thankfully they provide free flow of oolong tea so I don't have to suffer that much. After that we just shop around the area, but the shops closed quite early so we head back to hotel around 11pm.

New Notebook.
My pc declared dead again. Fed up with fixing it so decided to get a notebook to replace. Finally got Asus N61JQ 16", so far so good except I need to get used to the smaller screen. Hopefully it can last long and don't give me any problems. Sorting my photos from Taiwan and I realise I didn't take much photos this time round. Haha I guess some entries will be quite plain. Probably will start this weekend to post things up.

Taipei 1-6 July 2010.
Yes I'm going to Taipei again with sc and the last trip is like only 1 year ago. But I really wanted to go overseas and somehow Taipei is still appealing for me to go on a second trip. This time round really more of a eating & shopping trip though we will be going to Keelung and Hualian. But the thing that worries me is will I be able to watch the world cup via the hotel tv? Haha I know it's crazy but seems like Taiwanese pay more attention to baseball and basketball. Plus down to top 8 teams, matches will be more exciting and more reason to watch it. Oh well, I can only cross my fingers and hope that I get to watch the matches.

I Passed!.
Received the results of my Jap elementary 1 exam today, so happy that I passed! Was worried about my conversation part but managed to scrape through it. Thinking of resting a while before taking elementary 2, to complete some of the things I have not done like the book I bought in Feb is still untouched. Will try to do as many things before DAO distracts me again haha.

五月天变形DNA无限放大版演唱会.
Disappointment is not a word I would use to describe Mayday concert but sadly that is what I felt after the concert. I can't say I blame them cos there are some factors that contribute to this. 1. The heavy rain in the afternoon makes the ground really muddy. I hardly see anyone jumping due to this. They should put some board to cover the grass, it will make things so much easier and we do not have to deal with muddy shoes thereafter. During the concert, it's very hot and humid and there's no wind at all. 2. Very confusing which gate to enter. There are no clear signs indicating directions so it's like have to keep asking where to go. 3. Not sure of the reason why the security won't let people into the stadium by 7pm, perhaps they are still fixing the equipment spoilt by the rain. Anyway since they don't allow us to enter early, the concert start at 845pm, 1 hr and 15 mins late from the actual time of 730pm. I thought since we start late, mostly likely they will sing past 12 midnight. But the concert end at 1130pm, and I'm in a state of disbelief cos there are so many songs they did not sing and they just end it so suddenly. Still there are some plus points in this concert. The bumblebee transformer robot is really cool and the fireworks(NDP-style) at the end of 温柔 is really pretty. But if I were to be given a choice, I would exchange all that for them to sing 志明与春娇, 拥抱,憨人 and all those songs they did not sing. After all their songs is what makes me love Mayday. Let's hope the next concert will be better. Sign at the Stadium MRT Our tickets Masa wearing the bear head I think Masa sweat the most haha! Guanyou at the drums Stone ready to strum his guitar Bumblebee comes to life Mayday Monster with his guitar Ashin with the orchestra behind him

Processing Japanese.
Some updates for the past month: 1. Still hooked on Dragon Age, currently on my 4th through. Waiting for Awakening expansion to launch next week, so when that happens, the chance of catching me online is pretty slim. 2. Finally started my Japanese lesson on Tue. The conversation part is difficult cos my brain still cannot process Japanese. Kind of wish I have a study buddy with me. For now, trying to get my brain to include Japanese as my 3rd language. 3. Planning to go to the IT Show and get a new mp3 player since mine(Creative) spolit a week ago. Not sure what brand to get, any recommendations? And depending on the price at IT Show, I may get something else. Heh that will be in another entry.
